Kixx Competition Rules
These rules apply to Kixx step competitions that award virtual in-app items. Feature-specific screens may add rules such as the entry window, scoring period, tie handling, or reward amount.
Sponsor and Apple Disclaimer
Competitions are sponsored and administered by Synapse Social LLC. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor, administrator, prize provider, or participant and is not involved in any Kixx competition.
No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or real-money payment is necessary to enter or win. Daily Rivals, Leagues, and no-stake challenges require no Star contribution. Real-money purchases are not offered in this release.
Optional Star wagers
Daily Duels and Squad challenges can use voluntarily contributed earned Stars. The amount is shown before you create or accept a challenge and is locked from your balance on entry. Purchased Stars cannot be wagered. You can lose the Stars you stake. Eligible walking results determine the winner or winners, who receive the pooled Stars. There are no cash or real-world prizes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, have any required parent or guardian permission, hold an eligible Kixx account, comply with any higher app-store or local-law age restriction, and be located where the feature is lawful. Competitions are void where prohibited.
Entry, Timing, and Scoring
Entry and scoring dates, time zone, eligible participants, and any virtual reward are shown in Kixx before or during the feature. Results are based on eligible step data received by Kixx during the stated period. Device, Apple Health, network, integrity, and synchronization limits may affect when steps appear.
Fair Play
Automated, fabricated, duplicated, manipulated, or unsafe activity is not eligible. Synapse Social LLC may investigate results, require verification, correct technical errors, disqualify an entry, withhold a virtual reward, or cancel a competition to protect users and fair play.
Ties, Interruptions, and Rewards
Tied Daily Duels return each participant's locked stake. Tied Squad winners split the pot evenly; any indivisible Star remainder is assigned in stable account-ID order. Cancelled staked challenges return locked stakes to the contributing participants. A declined or expired duel invitation returns any locked stake. Other ties and rewards follow the relevant feature's rules. Kixx may cancel or adjust a competition affected by an outage, data-integrity issue, abuse, or legal requirement. Virtual Stars and items have no cash value, are nontransferable outside Kixx, and cannot be redeemed for money.
Privacy and Disputes
Competition participation may make your profile, eligible step total, rank, and virtual reward visible to other participants as described in the Privacy Policy. Questions or disputes must be sent to nikko@synapsesocial.com with enough detail to identify the feature, but without passwords, verification codes, or Health records.
